This is my first critique, so please keep that in mind. I will try and be as critical as possible, since this piece is actually nice and with a couple modifications would be absolutely breathtaking. First, I will get aesthetics out of the way. This person's features are pronounced and strong, but the chin is rather small, but that is just my opinion really. The previous critique that I read talks about the neck size; I can see what they are saying, but I feel that a larger chin would lead to the head 'sitting' better on the neck. The earlobes could also be a little more shapely. Okay, now lets get technical. I love the color and overall style. The main problem that I see is that the view is a little confused. To save me from actually doing math, I will call this view 5/8 (maybe 9/16?), but some of the features suggest otherwise. The forehead/brow bone above the far eyelash could use some refining. The close eye and ear appear to be 3/4 view, while the chin and neck are profile. I think keeping the neck as is and altering the eye, rounding the ear, and shading the chin just a teeny tiny bit would lead to a nice pose. Hopefully this made sense. Again, I would like to state that I am trying to be overly critical, since your work is quite beautiful.
